When they told us to do yet ANOTHER flower-still life I felt the urge to experiment with light and shadow. The Calla has a beautiful shape I wanted to put the focus on, so lighting the whole thing up with an aquiline zebra-striped silhouette seemed to be the right thing to do.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
