I have a real problem looking at shots with diagonal horizons. But I have learned that its my problem to deal with as there is no real reason why a horizon should be straight in a photograph.
I always like how seascapes work geometrically. How the canvas is divided into two basic square shapes and how anything else in the scene intersects these shapes. Like in your shot here where you have a triangular wedge coming in from the right and separating the sky from the beach. It works particularly well since the horizon is at an angle.

I totally get what you mean. I hate it when a picture looks as if the photographer had been drunk. However, in this shot it gives a very interesting perspective, esp. because it feels more abstract that naturalistic to me in general.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
