Artist's Comments

Traumtheater. Stephan, 2002.

It was taken with a Fuji 1600 ISO film, which is necessary for theatre shots like this one. I LOVE the classical grain!

how appropriate that I find a piece that reminds me of The Phantom Of The Opera just after I finish watching Schumacher's! great piece

Excellent. I do a lot of theatrical photography. . . This is very high quality. So dramatic.

how wonderful! although the grain is distracting...

Well, that's the thing about theatre photography... it's hardly possible without that grain.

I like the grains and the black and white colour choice as they give the picture older, classical look. the shot will even be better without the chair on the left, which i found a bit distracting :)

Great shot. The only thing that would make it better is if the perspective was so it looked like he was caressing her, and not so much just in front of her. But still, well done.
