I finally got our relaunch issue into my hands, fresh from the printers. The big release party is tomorrow, our executive invited loads of b-celebs and society TV, I think it's going to be fun. It's going to be interesting to see it from the "makers" perspective, rather than being the guest or event-photographer. I don't really care about these events, but it's magazine business, so obviously some people in our company are really keen on the attention (who can blame them?). I'll be on the sidelines, "enjoying" the free champagne and the (bad) critique, haha. Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into? I've been watching a lot of "Ugly Betty" lately, and you wouldn't believe how accurate some of the intrigues are, haha. Just imagine us less glamorous and in a cheap office building rather than a haute couture penthouse. And they also don't give away free Gucci bags. Shame.
